How does the system work?
A: We will custom design a
system for your home. Precision misting nozzles,
connected by nylon tubing are discreetly installed to
the outer eves of the home, along fence lines and
throughout landscaped areas. The system automatically
mists an EPA registered pyrethrum solution around the
perimeter of your home at predetermined intervals, which
kills mosquitoes and other biting insects on contact
breaking their breeding cycle.

How automatic is the system and when will it spray?
A:
The system is totally automatic. Our technicians will
set the time initially to activate three times a day for
thirty-second intervals at
Sunrise
, Sunset
and
9:00 p.m.
to
control your insect problem. As seasons change, you may
increase the number of spray settings as needed for
effective insect control.
Q:
How safe is pyrethrum?
A:
Pyrethrum is a biodegradable, water based concentrate
derived from chrysanthemum flowers. The solution is EPA
registered and has been approved for food processing
plants, restaurants and sensitive applications such as
the post harvest treatment of fruits and vegetables.
Pyrethrum decomposes harmlessly leaving no oily residue
like other chemicals or synthetic compounds that can be
dangerous to humans and pets.

Will pyrethrum harm my pets?
A:
Pyrethrum is considered nontoxic to mammals when used in
accordance with the label instructions. Pyrethrum has
been used in agricultural and equine applications for a
quarter of a century with no known harmful effects.
Commonly Pyrethrum is a component on many flea dip
applications. A word of caution, pyrethrum may be toxic
to some species of fish. As with anything common sense
plays a factor. Do not place food or water bowls
directly under a spray nozzle.

Which insects does pyrethrum control?
A:
Almost all insects are killed and effectively repelled
including: mosquitoes, spiders, ticks, fleas, flies,
no-see-ums, wasps, gnats, ants, roaches, and scorpions.

How much does the system cost?
A:
The installed cost of a BuzzOFF
system is based on the specific design of your home and
the areas you wish to protect. Each
home is customized to you your needs so cost varies upon
the design. Your
BuzzOFF representative will
work with you to design an effective yet cost effective
system for your home.
Q:
What kind of warranty is offered?
A:
Every BuzzOFF Mosquito
system contains a full two-year warranty on equipment
and labor. We also provide a 30-day no questions asked
satisfaction guarantee. If you are dissatisfied with
your system or its operation, we will remove the system
and only charge you for the labor involved.
Q:
How often does the system need to be refilled"
A:
The average time between refills is approximately 3
months. The time will vary depending upon the number of
nozzles, the severity of your insect problem, the number
of spray cycles per day and the duration of each spray
cycle.
Q:
How do I get my tank refilled?
A:
You decide. Simply call us and we will come to your home
to refill your system or we will have the solution sent
to your home. If you subscribe to our auto fill program,
one of our technicians will visit your home every 45
days to measure the amount of solution in your system.
We will then refill your tank and you will only be
billed for the amount of solution used to fill the
system.
Q:
How do I use the remote control?
A:
Whenever you feel an additional treatment is necessary,
use the remote control from anywhere in your home to
manually activate the system. Use this function before
parties or outdoor dinning.

Is the system adaptable for growth?
A:
Yes. The BuzzOFF Mosquito
system can easily be modified to incorporate any change
in your home or yard.
